Meet The Team
Cathy George
Cathy has been working in the staffing industry since 1978. She launched C. G. & Company in 1988 in Odessa, TX specializing in local placements.
By early 1990, Cathy expanded her business to include a temporary division and started brokering for Professional Employer Organization (PEO)/employee leasing. During this time, she also became active in the Permian Basin Association of Personnel Consultants (PBAPC), serving as the President for two terms. She earned her Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) credentials in 1993, which enabled Cathy to become Education Chair of the PBAPC.
In 1994, Cathy expanded the office to include a worldwide recruiting division. C. G. & Company opened an office in Dallas in 1997 followed by an Austin office in June 2000. She was nominated to the board and soon elected President of the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants. Cathy has also served on the board as District IX Director for the National Association of Personnel Services.
Today, C. G. & Company has become a premier full service professional recruiting company. Cathy makes time available for business, social and school groups to present the importance of proactive career planning, talent acquisition, and the human resource issues that affect the organization in today’s business climate.
Cathy also currently sits on the President’s Advisory Board of University of Texas Permian Basin, the board of Southwest Heritage Credit Union as well as the Loan Committee at the credit union and the board of Odessa Links Homeless Coalition. Cathy also volunteers her time to different non-profit organizations in her community.
Kristie Graves
Kristie currently serves as Vice President of Administration for C. G. & Company where she is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. Kristie started her career in the legal field in 1992. She served as the office manager and paralegal for a local law firm for 8 years. She then moved into the medical billing field, billing Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance companies for local doctors’ offices. She started with C. G. & Company in 2006. Kristie serves as a volunteer for different local organizations such as Odessa Links. She has also sat on the board of the West Texas Kidney Foundation and has participated in the Big Sister/Big Brother program.
